IT Support for Small Businesses in London is a trading name of Evening Computing.

Our background

Evening Computing has supported individuals, professionals and small organisations since 2001. The business began in London and has developed through long-term working relationships rather than sales-led growth.

Over time, we have worked with a wide range of technology environments, from straightforward setups to more complex and security-sensitive systems. This experience informs how we assess new work today.

How we work

Most IT work benefits from understanding context before action. For that reason, we assess existing systems, constraints and risks before making recommendations or carrying out changes.

Decisions are made deliberately. We explain options, trade-offs and limitations clearly so that choices can be made with realistic expectations. Where work depends on third-party platforms or specialist providers, this is made explicit.

We work within defined boundaries. Not all issues can be resolved immediately, and not all outcomes can be guaranteed. Our role is to advise on what is achievable, what carries risk, and what requires further assessment or specialist involvement.

Security, reliability and performance are treated as ongoing considerations rather than one-off fixes. Controls are designed to reduce risk and limit impact, not to promise absolute protection.

Our focus is on continuity and oversight over time, rather than isolated fixes. Clear communication and predictable support are central to how we work.
