These cloud-to-cloud backups are protected against ransomware and crypto type malware activity, the data cannot be altered once it’s backed up so if the customer has a ransomware attack, all versions are available for recovery.  Because the contents of the backups are not executed as the data is backing up, the content is immediately encrypted and stored.  If a file is infected, we will back it up and restore it, but we don’t execute it so no malware will be executed.
